Scope and controller
UnionByte Limited (“UnionByte,” “we,” “us”) controls the processing described here for applications, websites, and related services that link to this policy. App stores, advertisers, SDK providers, printers, and destinations may separately control information.
Camera, photos, and video
Security-related functions may use the camera or access photos and video you select to display, scan, monitor, capture, or prepare the requested result. Printing functions may also access selected photos or files. Access occurs only for a related action and within operating-system permission scope.
Local network and nearby devices
Relevant functions may use Local Network, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth to discover, connect to, or communicate with compatible cameras, printers, and nearby devices. This can involve network names, device names, addresses, connection state, or discovery responses visible on the local network.
Optional remote uploads and two-week deletion
When a user-selected camera, photo, or video function requires remote processing, the selected media may be uploaded to a server or service provider. Uploaded media and corresponding generated results are deleted no later than two weeks after the last related processing activity.
The two-week limit does not apply to local files, support, transactions, security logs, or provider-controlled records.
Permissions
Camera, microphone, photo-library, file, storage, Local Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or notification permission may be requested by a related function. You can deny or revoke access, although capture, monitoring, discovery, printing, saving, or alerts may then be unavailable.
Technical and support information
Online components may process IP address, device and operating-system type, app version, language, network state, event time, crash and security signals. Support records include your email, message, attachments, and troubleshooting details.
Advertising, SDKs, stores, and purchases
Relevant versions may contain advertising or SDKs for operational, analytics, security, or advertising functions. Providers may process general device, app, IP, consent, and interaction information under their notices. App stores handle downloads, trials, subscriptions, renewal, refunds, and store accounts.
Purposes and disclosure
Information is used to provide capture, connection, monitoring, printing, remote processing, support, security, analytics, advertising, and purchases as applicable. It may be disclosed to relevant providers, app stores, advisers, authorities where required, a corporate successor, and destinations you choose.
Retention by holder
Local media, print files, connection settings, and results remain until you delete them or clear device/product storage. Remote media follows the two-week limit. Support, analytics, advertising, transaction, and security records are kept only as needed for their purpose, law, or disputes. Independent parties use their schedules.
Choices and rights
You can manage permissions, disconnect devices, remove local files, adjust tracking choices, and control exports. Depending on law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or consent withdrawal for company-held information. We may verify requests.
Security and international processing
We use safeguards appropriate to information we control, but networks and transmissions are not completely secure. Use trusted local networks, verify nearby devices, protect camera access, and inspect recipients. Providers may process information outside your region using required safeguards.
Age, changes, and contact
Products are intended for users aged 17 or older, subject to higher local requirements. We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Contact [email protected] or use the Data Deletion Guide.
